DANCE CLASS SCHEDULE

Free Work Classes | 22 November – 4 December

Notice on 28 July 2022: From 1 August 2022 onwards, we’re introducing upgraded dance fees for the studio. 

  1. Select the class you want to attend and the instructor.
  2. Fill up your personal information and select the “Student Status” as below:
    • Class Passes for all Free Work Classes EXCEPT Adult Contemporary
      • CSTD Student
      • Buy 1 class pass – RM50
      • Buy 4 class pass (1 month) – RM160
      • Buy 8 class pass (2 months) – RM280 
      • Buy unlimited class pass (1 month) – RM380 
      • Class Passes Holder with 4 credit pass
      • Class Passes Holder with 8 credit pass
      • Class Passes Holder with unlimited credit pass
      • Newcomer
    • Adult Contemporary
      • [Adult Contemporary] Buy 1 class pass – RM50
      • [Adult Contemporary] Buy 4 class pass (1 month) – RM180

  3. For newcomers, first-time registration fee (as member) with RM50 is required.
  4. When duplicate bookings exist for the same class or if the booking exceeds your number of class passes, the system will automatically cancel (ONLY) the duplicate booking or extra booking without notice.

  5. Please share your full payment details with name, mobile number and bank receipt to us via WhatsApp message (+6012-412 8652).

Notice on 28 July 2022: From 1 August 2022 onwards, we’re introducing upgraded dance fees for the studio. 

  1. Physical classes are as per the status quo where instructors and students will have their usual interaction and receive immediate feedback throughout the classes.
  2. Physical Class Fee
    • 1 credit pass with one (1) month validity at RM50 only.
    • 4 credit pass with one (1) month validity at RM160 only.
    • 8 credit pass with two (2) months validity at RM280 only.
    • Unlimited credit pass with one (1) month validity at RM380 only.
  3. Adult Contemporary Class Fee (Physical class only)
    • 1 credit pass with one (1) month validity at RM50 only.
    • 4 credit pass with one (1) month validity at RM180 only.
  4. One purchase class pass per one student only.
  5. For newcomers, first-time registration fee (as member) with RM50 is required.
  6. Class fees are in Malaysia Ringgit (RM).
  7. Once you’ve purchased your credit passes, make sure to pick up your class pass card at the studio. Be sure to bring your class pass card with you to every class.
  8. Studio location/address: 40A, Jalan SS 15/4c, SS 15, 47500 Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia
  9. A maximum of 14 attendees in one class. (Refer to the COVID-19 Safety Requirements for more details)

Class passes purchased are not refundable but you are allowed to transfer the ownership of your class passes to others.

You must inform and get confirmation from us (via WhatsApp message at +6012-412 8652) before transferring your class passes.

  1. Classes are open for booking every Wednesday.
  2. 1 hour of training per class.
  3. For future class replacements, updates and announcements, we will be posting it on Instagram and Facebook Story.
  4. Our studio is open four weeks of the month, we take a break on the fifth week.
Learn More | Dance Students
  1. All Free Work classes have no age limit but minors are encouraged to have company of parents or guardians. 
  2. We welcome and encourage students and dance enthusiasts from around the world to join our classes.
COVID-19 House Rules | Attendees [Updated on 16 February 2022]
  1. Please take a RTK test at least 24 hours before your class.
  2. Send photo evidence of the RTK test result in your respective WhatsApp groups or send it to our admin, Sze Qing (via WhatsApp message at +6017-338 7686).
  3. Please wear a mask at all times.
  4. Please practice social distancing at all times.
  5. Please sanitise your hands throughout the evening.
  6. Please take your temperature before you enter the studio.
COVID-19 Safety Requirements
  1. You are required to make reservations for each class. The studio has the right to refuse your entry without reservation.
  2. A maximum of 18 attendees in one class.
  3. Arrive at least 15 minutes before class. The studio has the right to refuse entry should you not make a reservation or be very late to class.
  4. If you are feeling unwell, please cancel your reservation.
  5. Temperature checks are compulsory before stepping into the studio.
  6. The studio reserves the right to refuse your entry if you have a temperature above >37.5 degrees Celsius or have symptoms such as fever, flu, cough or shortness of breath.
  7. Please register via MySejahtera at the front desk upon entering the studio.
  8. Please sanitise your hands and feet upon registering at the front desk.
  9. You must bring your own towels, filled water bottles, and in-door use shoes (applicable to street dance classes).
  10. Strictly no sharing of any personal items.
  11. All attendees are required to wear masks in the dance class.

Clarissa Lee

Senior Student and Dance Instructor of Danztech Movement, Malaysia

Clarissa has a strong passion for contemporary and modern dance; she has been teaching at Danztech Movement for the past two years while refining her skills as both a choreographer and trainer. She is also the first-runner up for CSTD Contemporary Dance (Solo) 2019 and won the title of “Best Choreographer” in the S+S Malaysia Dance 2019.

Elaine Ho Lai

Senior Student and Dance Instructor of Danztech Movement, Malaysia

Elaine is a hybrid and integral part of the Danztech Movement. She helps manage students’ portfolios and teaches religiously under the mentorship of Melody Tee. She is also the champion of the CSTD Contemporary (Solo) Open Category 2020.

Luanne Lee

Senior Student and Dance Instructor of Danztech Movement, Malaysia

Luanne is an award-winning dancer who is experienced in multiple genres – mainly multi styled (fusion) contemporary and hip hop. She was awarded champion for three categories in CSTD (2019) – contemporary, lyrical, modern jazz. She was also the 1st runner up for the hip hop category. Her style of movement is characteristically strong and sharp. She hopes to create a class environment where her students can express themselves freely and add their own ‘flavor’ into the dances that they learn and embody.

Melody Tee

The Founder and Director of Danztech Movement, Malaysia

Graduated from the LASALLE College of Arts, Melody is an award-winning dancer, choreographer and trainer who founded Danztech Movement as a passion project back in 2016. It started off as a community project but soon evolved into a full-fledged dance academy.

Steve Goh

RAD Registered Teacher | Ballet and Contemporary Dance Instructor | Dance Instructor of Danztech Movement, Malaysia

A Sabah native, Steve Goh possesses 20 years of performing experience, and 10 years of dance teaching after graduating from the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts (HKAPA). He is a creative, passionate, and dedicated artist who is developing a vision to further explore dance education through private classes and community teaching. As a Performer and Dance Teaching graduate, he now seeks a more active role in dance education and has the ability to organize and inspire people to achieve learning objectives.

Winnie Tay

National Academy of Arts Culture and Heritage (ASWARA) | Dua Space Dance Theatre Academy, Malaysia | Dance Instructor of Danztech Movement, Malaysia

Winnie graduated from ASWARA with a bachelor of dance and a passion for contemporary. She started her journey as a contemporary/lyrical teacher in 2016, choreographing pieces for competitions such as CSTD and APDC. In 2019, she joined Danztech as an instructor. She now works as a freelance dancer/teacher for studios such as Dua Space Dance Theatre Academy, Dancelink and more.

Zara Eliza

Senior Student and Dance Instructor of Danztech Movement, Malaysia

Zara is a multi-styled international award-winning dancer. She has won Latin competitions in Europe. In GTB Bangkok 2019, she placed 1st in hip hop, 2nd in contemporary. Zara’s recent dance group creation has also won the Outstanding Ensemble in MCCDC 2022. She is now under Melody Tee’s guidance and also an instructor at the Danztech Movement.
